Four Years - Forever Love

Our precious Angel Cody, this day brings endless tears;
For it marks the one you left us on, today it’s been four years!
Since that saddest Summer morning, when we had to say goodbye;
As your Doctor put you “seepy-seep”, as we held you and we cried!

We never will forget you, our dearest Baby Boy;
You made our lives so happy, you brought us total joy!
And when your health began to waver, you fought so hard to stay;
Until the very last moment, of that most dire of all days!

Your photographs are everywhere, you still surround our lives;
Sometimes they seem to speak to us, as if you’re still alive!
And at our shrine for you and Nico, we say a prayer each day;
Thank the Angels up in Heaven, for sending you both our way!
