Our precious Angel Nico, on this saddest day we grieve;
For exactly four years ago, on a Winter’s night, you had to take your leave!
We thought you would get better, after visiting your vet that day;
But the medicines did not heal you, and your sweet Soul sailed away!

This photo shows you as a puppy, so young and full of life;
The most beautiful of doggies, intelligence sharper than a knife!
The first moment that we held you, our hearts felt instant love;
Our Souls bonded for eternity, with our Soulmate from above!

You brought to your Mommy and Daddy, the most happiness we’d ever known;
You took us to Nirvana, just you, and you alone!
Our love for you was unparalleled, in the annals of history;
No doggie had ever shared more love, than did Mommy, you, and me!

Three months before your second birthday, we got you a little brother boy;
From your doggie Mommy’s litter, he brought you untold joy!
We named him Baby Cody, you both bonded instantly;
A union made in Heaven, a union meant to be!

Almost twelve years we were a family, until that horrid Monday night;
When our Nico had to leave us, his illness, unable fight!
We will love you for eternity, your Soul will never die;
We never will forget you, and forever will we cry!

Our hearts and Souls will e’er weep
For our dear Nico
