Happy 1 year

Happy 1 year

Steady as the evening goes
Falling to the ground as a blood drenched  rose

Its petals drifting slowly in the foam
Deep in the forest where your love will roam

Many paths lie ahead
Everyone has gone right but you go left instead
A fox running deep in the woods
Dancing freely as it should
I once heard a lion roar in the day
I heard that lion call your name
I once saw a wolf walking in the forest alone
I see how this wolf and lion had grown
I see a future that, like all, will be tough
But I've  seen this love and it is surly a true diamond in the rough
And in the summer by the docks
You two touched and was reborn a fox
I know nothing of beauty or romance
But I know love when I see that fox jump and dance
Its eyes like her wolf were  glowing brown and bold
Its fur like her lion in the evening light shinning gold
Its soul an everlasting star that will find its way through the night
And its silver heart beeting just right
To the melody of the sky
Like a bird flying away
Fly away from here
To the forest that is your home
Slowly the petals drift in the foam
Deep in the forest where  your love will roam
