Fragile for a while...

Fragile for a while...

You had thoughts of someone else
Somebody who rides with guilt
It's not a lonely drive
You were part of the split
Your mind wondered to lustful heights
For you I hate, and not worth the fight
I noticed a different shade on your cheek
For it wasn't poisoned purple, it was placid pink
Empty words of "I love you"
With you my depression grew
I'm a strong woman, but
I'll be fragile for a while
Why should you get to control
When I can be happy on my own
You were a weak man
She will see
It might take time
She'll lose her smile
Then she will be
fragile for a while...
