Framed Memory

I thought that we were a work of art
So beautifully created
you painted a picture of us
that showed me we had potential to be the greatestÂ
So anxiously did I,
What to place it on my wall n frame it
But the nail that held the picture together soon weakened and damaged
My Picasso was lost
With no painting left behind
but I could still visualize the beauty we had where it still existed in my mindÂ
So beautifully divine
Artistically sublimeÂ
I write you this poem with
Tears written in between every line
you stole my heart
maybe if I would had stolen yours you would still be mine
I could still see you in my future even if I were blind
How I wish we could begin a new
work of art
I thought now was the best time to start
With no paint brushes
and pastels
but a pencil that will write what's from the heartÂ
Where I’ll paint a picture with metaphors and simile's
You are like the sun you shine beautifully
Remember when you said I was your world?
Then, you are my gravity
You hold my planet in your
solar space.
Scientifically speaking
you are my hydrogen without you I cannot flame
A variety of stars
but we belong side by side in this big dipperÂ
Tell me do u remember?Â
The memories we created
so beautifully painted
how I wish I could place it on the wall
and frame it.

Ebony!  Enjoyed this write!  Now this masterpiece if full of "blue hues".  The truth of the picture damaged by deception and untruths…a sad ending to what should have been a private splendor.
