Poem -

Frankenstein's monster

You created me without remorse
leaving a deathless eclipse
following every footstep of my consciousness

don't worry now;
I quite like what I've become
living the crimson-hatred in my veins
breathing black air from the murkiness
you designed into my soul

I am glad you are among the living
that you breathe fills me
with enough hate to keep living
maybe all that you are
I will destroy dead one day
but for now--

don't look away
I am your creation
you won't die yet
for I am not done living.
