Poem -

Freckles

He loved her frecklesĀ
The constalations on her skin
he saw the stars that they were,

He loved her eyes
Sweet chocolate brown
he thought they were inviting,

He was intriged by her scars
The battle wounds
he thought she was a solider,

He wondered why she doesn't leave her bed
The sleeping potions
he thought they were magic,

He loved when she smiled
The light at the end of the tunnel
he thought she was happy.

She loved when he smiled
The light at the end of her tunnel.

She knew he was happy.
And she hopes that doesn't change

Like when it did for her.
