A free boat ride?

I think I'm changing again.
I can feel it deep within.
When I stop to listen close,
I tell myself breathe in.

When it comes to take me home,
I'd give all I've ever known.
To take with me one thing that's real,
just enough to make me feel.

One trip to take me for a spin
to leave me blind to what has been.
I'll see myself with brand new eyes
to watch the stars in midnight skies.

If so much should come to pass,
please...don't leave me drowning in my past.
only to wash upon the shores of sin,
where hell lies just three feet in.
