A FREE WOMAN

A FREE WOMAN

I walk in the room,

everyone is silent.

I walk out and nobody is quiet.

people will stop and stare at me.

The only sound you hear are my heels

click-clacking on the floor.

People wonder how I feel.

I do things on my own.

I'm 16 but I seem grown.

I cook for myself,

I never ask anyone for help.

I work hard,

I'm the boss of my life.

I swipe my own visa card.

I will make a wonderful wife.

I love everyone

but everyone doesn't love me.

but it's okay....

because I am a woman,

I woman the is FREE!!!!!
