Freedom
Can’t take that away
Free to be me
See what I want to see
Say what I want to say
Can’t take that away
Free to be me
Not beat down and tired
Cared about and admired
Joyful and inspired
Can’t take that away
Free to be me
Left behind what I didn’t need to be whole
Standing up and taking control
Happy healthy in mind body and soul
Can’t take that away
Free to be me
The bad gone without a trace
The metamorphosis taking place
The smile on my face
Can’t take that away
Free to be me
