Gone

Sometimes in life sadness comes like a shadow in the darkness
An old friend seeing you as you are knowing the truth within
Filling the spot empty and holding your heart thru something
That hurts so deep that only pain understands the depth of your sorrow
As you search for the light shining in the distance its glare blinding the
view of happiness that is so far away you can never catch up
anguish takes your breath for the last time
