Poem -

FREEDOM

As I take my feet off from the confinement of the shoes, they gasp for fresh air and send happy signals to my brain.

The toes and fingers go around inquisitively in their new-found space.

Alas! They were free. The world was finally for them to explore.

It was different.

The change in contrast from restriction to freedom of movement was nice for them all right, but there was a contrast of another sorts too - the contrast of being in a warm place as opposed to a cold one.

Their newly acquired freedom of movement had now become a task.

Suddenly the warm confines of the shoes began to elude them.
