Freedom of Speech(LOL)

Freedom of speech is a thing we should cherish,
But as the days roll on I watch our language perish.

You can LOL all you want but I won't crack a smile,
You can say BRB but I'll run a mile.

It seems using our words has become a difficult task, 
Just stop ROFL that's all I ask.

These abbreviations are no crime,
But were losing our freedom,
One word at a time.
