Friends And Soulmates
There is an old adage, that states, no better friend for a man could there be;
Than that of a beloved canine, who loves unconditionally!
You are the core of their existence; their life rotates ‘round you;
No other creature on this planet; could ever be so true!
From the moment that you meet them, until they have to say goodbye;
They envelope you with kisses, so sweet, they’ll make you cry!
The only thing they ask for, is to show them lots of love;
These precious kindred angels, sent down from up above!
When I see someone abuse them, I burn with reddened rage;
They should lock these monsters up forever, in a four by six foot cage!
For how could anyone mistreat them, when all they want is kiss;
A head pat or a belly rub, for these, they all exist!
I call them the absorbent “love sponge”, that soaks in all you’ll give;
And they will remunerate you daily, as long as they shall live!
More than friends, I call them soulmates, for they fulfill all of what life means;
The kind of love one usually finds, only in their dearest dreams!

That`s beautiful my Larry and it flows along superbly. Such a loving tribute to our varied members of the family. My two dogs are my boys, my babies. Ellwood George is a huge french pedigree Mastiff the same as the dog in the film Turner and Hooch and Nero is a white Staffordshire Bull terrier and I love them to pieces, they are my seventh and eighth children and they keep me company when their daddy`s away, they are fiercely protective of me and so loving and loyal, I adore them both. You have done little Nico proud my darling, well done. Nero and Nico are very similar names aren`t they?!! That tells me that you, Linda and I are soulmates and that we think and love alike too.
