Today I made some friends, who taught me meanings
To questions I needed answers to, from the very beginning
They were strangers to this world, but close friends of GOD
They saw themselves as nothing, 'til my world gave them a nod
I sometimes find myself in my room of boundless activity
Balancing 18 projects while I'm praying for continuity
They possessed true humility, lived in simple obedience
And walked in charity, still the answer came, purity of patience
I speak to you, friends I know, and Apostle's of JESUS' circle
I know them from my telephone, learn the answers from their Bible
These Holy Fathers were given to us, as models we can rely on
Like the man who lives next door, you know, the one that you spy on
But the truth is that we're ALL the same, sturdy Forest Rangers
And Oh! the great rewards we get, when we make friends of strangers......
