have become quite adept
at mining the extreme
opposition fringe elements
and mass extrapolating
these hyper partisan zealots
as respected representatives
of the median norm

By cherry picking
and embellishing the kooks
they skew the argument
even over tragic catastrophes
where the majority
would normally be in agreement
if not for the flammable
gas lighting exaggerations
that stokes emotions
and keeps the uncivil war going
