From a folklore fairytale ?

Fluttering thru my bed of bonny red roses amidst a bright and early morn..in and out of those purple hollyhocks in the middle of my grassy lawn.. I really thought my sleepy eyes were deceiving me when I was startled by surprise at what I actually did see..

I was worn out and weary coz I hadn’t slept a wink but when I heard whispering gobbledygook well this certainly made me think !!
What on earth was that cluttering up my garden path ? Those fragile flourescent wings hovering over my birdbath ? I must have counted at least a dozen or maybes more small sprites and petite pixies straight from a fairytale folklore

Oh my goodness gracious me.. this lot had to be the loveliest thing that I could ever see.. I stopped for ages hiding behind my wooden shed as I was spellbound in captivation.. was my mind mislead ? But I didn’t just see them all playing.. I heard them too.. this lot made the strangest squeaky sounds that I had ever knew..”A-ringling and a-tingling” in a melodious way.. mind you I was completely baffled at what they did say..

So ever since that delightful day and it wasn’t long ago I look out for my little visitors with their magical glow.. Alas I haven’t seen them again but I will forever live in hope that they will come back to my flower bed to entertain..shiney, sparkled sprites no bigger than half a matchstick chasing beautiful butterflies and flickering about so quick..
