From Inside This Box of Broken Mirrors

When you can't see things clearly .. just parts of the whole

I really don’t like who I am
or what I have become
But when living in a box
of broken mirrors, like this
can you really blame me ..

Or is it, by chance down
to the circumstances we find
ourself in at the time ..
Those, which are far beyond
the locus of our own control ..

So on reflection, pray tell me,
when will our
seven year sentence be done ..
I so need to know, for the sake
of the both of us ..

What a visual this drew as I read it and it highly resonated as we all see things differently based on our own boxes of pieces .
