FROZEN IN TIME

FROZEN IN TIME

SEASONS ARE CHANGING BEFORE OUR EYES,Ā
YET WE ARE STUCK, IN OUR LIES AND ALIBI’S,
OUR PASSION OF LOVE HAS BECOME A CRIME,
FOOLISH HEARTS FROZEN IN TIME,
OUR FOOLISH HEARTS, FROZEN IN TIME.

WE LEAVE EACH OTHER, ONLY TO RETURN,
THE DISTANCE BETWEEN US, LIKE WILDFIRE BURNS,
THEN EMPTINESS CRIES OUT, TO OUR DEPRAVED MINDS,
FOOLISH HEARTS FROZEN IN TIME,
OUR FOOLISH HEARTS, FROZEN IN TIME.

LIKE RAINDROPS,
BREAKING AWAY FROM THE CLOUDS,
THAT WHICH WAS BENEATH US
CRIED OUT LOUD.

LEAVING THE ARMS OF EACH OTHERĀ
FOR THAT WHICH CANNOT BIND,
FOOLISH HEARTS FROZEN IN TIME,
OUR FOOLISH HEARTS,Ā
ARE STILL FROZEN IN TIME.

WILFORD BARKER.

All smiles here Neville..
I haven't had the time to do much writing lately.Ā
I've been walking on my head.
But my world is slowly rolling in the right direction.Ā
