Frustration

Frustration

FRUSTRATION

When I was very young

So many years ago

Everything I wanted to try

Was simply dismissed with” NO”

No matter how hard I tried

To have ideas of my own

Everyone rolled their eyes

Turned away and groaned

So I cannot blame anyone

For my confusing life

I have given in too easily

For peace at any price

Self, sacrifice I have learnt

Does not take away the pain

But only adds fuel to the fire

Destroying self, worth again

I analysed the cause this day

And surprisingly I have found

It’s all caused by frustration

Not getting things off the ground

I believe I am just as good

As everyone else, you see

So what is more important?

Their opinions or me

So here I stand upright

My back against the wall

My ideas are  good and worthy

So buggar! to them all
