Just one Flower
I’m only just one flower
My petals have the beauty
The stamens stand up tall
All the colours are magnificent
My perfume is the best of all
 
I’m only just one flower
From a massive garden of love
I’m unique like no other
As free as a turtle dove

To be picked or thrown away
Cherished for a only a moment
Maybe kept for a couple of days
 
I’m only just a flower
Made into a beautiful bouquet
Nothing can be so heart warming
To a bride on her wedding day
 
I’m only just a flower
Bundled up and tied with string
When presented as a gift
Oh! The joy and happiness we bring
 
I’m glad I’m just a flower
When a loved one has passed away
I am placed upon their chest, with love
Together in Gods garden we’ll stay.
