To show our appreciation nationwide 
Cheers and clapping could be heard 
Stronger than any song or word 

A goodwill thanks to all our medical staff 
More precious than a superstars autograph 
This was done on such an epic scale 
By every age both female and male

Never take for granted what they can do 
There in adversity to look after you 
Thank you is all that I can humbly say 
Saving lives which you do day after day
