Further than your own nose

Further than your own nose

Men, make me laugh,
they're quick to point
to the flaws of others..
yet consider not the gaping
holes they breach,
in the strive for perfection,
What do you expect,
at sixty, the body of
a nubile teenager,
after having a cesarean,
and a natural birth
you expect a fking virgin,
plus fortyfive years of graft,
You will carry some girth,
might have un softened skin,
I might grow weary with
application of cosmetics,
might not ever have been vain,
my entire life,
after bathing in the May Day
first Dew of the morn,
I am beautiful as I am born,
I grow tired of this game,
Look in the mirror,
grey, balding, mole covered
hairy men, look at your own
discrepancies..
I have no patience with
your expectations..
