Future Poem
I am today,
The dreams of tomorrow.
I am the future,
I'll find the way.
You are yesterday,
Gone like our fun.
You are the memories,
Fading one by one.
Today when I saw you,
I remembered our past.
We shared something wonderful,
It just didn't last.
Well, I can't stay any longer,
I have to move on,
And look for tomorrow,
Because yesterday is gone.

This is my very first poem I wrote in high school.
It had deep emotions behind it, then, but time does heal broken hearts.
