Poem -

Gates

If I could tell you that I miss you--

I would

That I love I do--

But I know that you don’t--

Why I even bother to petition the gods of love…

For your thoughts, for a sign, for you?

I don’t know why?

If I could have you

I know I’d give my life

Just to be with you!

But you don’t care that I love you

It’s just a phase to you.

I pray for you

And hope for you

But not even flowers blossom that fast

And your mind is just cold

And your eyes are just old

But you’re so cool to me

I’d be in your brave heart

And be with your iron life

If you’d open the gates

And let me into your garden

This night wouldn’t be as cruel.
