My Eden

I was graced by his gaze today

I was baptized by the sins of shame

I love that man like cows love bulls

and doves love doves

Streams of salt water rushed

down my forehead

washing away all innocence

with them

and exposing only

faint ghosts

that wail I love you

in the air...........

and the wailing goes on

and is carried by the wind

to my God and my Devil

and he stops looking at me

disgraces me

and the winds of comfort

blow towards my face

this is my Eden

and my fall

no blood will rescue me

only his lips upon mine

this is my Eden and my fall

and this is my dream

a dream sent by Venus

and Eros

Only his lips can make

take away my dream

Eden is gone

and I've already fallen
