The guilt running through my veins as I think about all that happened..

I stay up late forcing myself to be okay with not knowing that reason..
How do you take my best friend and leave me with nothing ?
How do you take someone so great and leave the world in misery ?
How do you take a little boy from his parents and not feel anything ?
How are you okay with the fact I'm living without the person who I cherished the most.

My chest weighs heavy at night as I think of your smile , your laugh, your corky comments .
My body feels weak as I think of the hugs I'll never receive, or the "I love you's " I'll never hear .
