Poem -

a Gaze

She gazes back...
the beautiful beast blooming before their very eyes
She can barely stand it!

Invisible strands of strength sew them together,
dewy and sinuous on this once lukewarm night.

His breath is fresh firewood
the first birdsong of morning,

She sends up a prayer for her soul
and invites another story with her legs
blessing with concealed gravity.
