Poem -

I seek you out

I seek you out along the corners of dry pages
my soft demon, my toothless one

We were molting birds in the same pond
I the strict branch
and you the ripe, unruly olives

My fingers tore at gray earth until I too became animal
I longed for you and you appeared
The brave one, the unaltered one

Oh quick fruit!
The seeded ache I held for you

within a passionate dance I lived and died
within a single moment my life clipped at a speed

Tongues that speak like birds
Eyes that glaze over the sheen of form and declares it good
I crossed and uncrossed my map for you

for you.

Hi sweet_milk

Good write, nice and romantic, my applause, my vote

Tongues that speak like birds
Eyes that glaze over the sheen of form and declares it good
I crossed and uncrossed my map for you

for you.

Regards
