Poem -

Generations

How do you deal with the loss of a generation?

A Generation is the life span of a Family.

From beginning to End…

From the first breath of life...

That’s where a generation begins.

It can last 100 years, or be as short as 20.

A generation Is not an amount of time,

But the beginning of a family.

When the elders begin to pass on,

The next generation has already begun.

As time passes with the breeze…

The older generation is starting to thin…

One by one he calls them away,

Till the last of the generation begins to fade.

That’s when the years help the younger generation find the way to live on

Day by day.

That’s when you realize the older generation is you…

No worries, no regrets

Yes the road will be harder with every step

Give thanks to the generations that have gone on ahead.

Now they put the future in our hands…
