The Gentleman

A rare man,
The gentleman,
The kind to open doors,
And hold your hand.

A man true to his word,
That keeps open ears,
One who makes you feel safe,
Who dries up your tears.

He is a man,
That is rare indeed,
For he is a man,
Not possessed by greed.

Never provoking acts of shame,
A confident man,
That makes his lady feel the same.

For he is the protector,
Always showing nothing but respect,
He values his morals,
Important dates,
Times he'll never forget.

Yes,
A rare man,
The gentleman,

He treats his woman like a Queen,
Spontaneous flowers,
He makes her life the best dream,

A gentleman the rarest thing,
The only man worth the waiting.
