Poem -

Getting Saved

Summer? almost here.
I hope the sun evaporates my tears.
and I hate my past;
but the memory forever last.
I cried too many nights;
lost too many fights.
but my old ways drown and suffocate;
decreasing my heart rate.
died and born again;
leaving behind wicked sins.
now Jesus is all i have;
to speak on my behalf.
I never said I was perfect;
but getting saved was totally worth it.
I will never be the same;
this process results in change.
