Getting Through

Getting Through

Sometimes enough just getting through
Although I want much more for you
Yet life can be a tricky thing
So learn to talk before you sing

And when the world seems cold and cruel
Remember not to give it fuel
Stay focused on the task at hand
When finished then you'll understand

A roller-coaster in these times
No end to those deluded crimes
But through the darkness comes a light
It may awake you in the night

So keep a watch, good friend of mine
And learn to read with every sign
Great things await both me and you
But just for now, we're getting through

Your rhyme is always great Simon, and you always have such a moral tale to tell.  Nicely penned, a vote from me:
