Determination, courage and desire 
Climbing the mountain higher and higher 
Getting to the top was their ultimate aim  
Not seeking fortune and not seeking fame 

Some good days and some bad days 
Helping one another as the good book says 
Footsteps of others who had been before 
Spurred them on that's for sure 

Their task now complete a flag duly raised 
To the man upstairs they thanked and praised 
Three men whose mission now complete 
A fantastic achievement and no mean feat
