She stands there, quiet
Looks straight through me
She speaks, but has no voice
and now, She knows me
she knows me well

She can barely hear my voice
yet she listens to me
she understands my deepest thoughts
and still, She knows me

She's sad, i put a smile on her face
she can't do that for me
She knows the reasons, the 'why's', the 'how's'
because, she knows me

She would never leave me standing alone
she always needs me
without me she is no one, nowhere
cos' now she knows me

She wants to hold me, make it right
she can't love me
I don't love her, but i long to

She wants to be my friend
She wants to comfort me
she can't, she can never make me happy
although, she knows me

I can't reach her, though i try
