Poem -
GIRLS RULE
She doesn't know life can hurt you...
She doesn't think about boys and all that love stuff...
She will tell you that butterflies are beautiful and boys are simply gross...
If you ask her...
Would you rather kiss a boy or a frog?
The frog wins that one, croak and all...
If a kiss would turn a boy into a frog she might give it some very careful thought...
She doesn't know that she may one day say a boy is cute...
She is happy to dance alone or with her Daddy...
When she turns thirteen and she hears...
You throw like a girl...
She will give a sarcastic response and smile a smile that can only come from a girl as she says...
GIRLS RULE!

There were a few boys in my neighborhood growing up and lucky for them I couldn't turn them into a frog...
I wasn't wasting my kisses to find out...

I think we go through phases constantly...
