Glass of Fire

The taste of grapefruit, love: so sweet; and so sour; and pastel
Love, the grayest dream; and still, we dream. So much devoured—
And yearning more: pearls, plums, and pasta—and a side of
Kit Kat; and panther eyes—probe the soul; and such a skill—

Adept to flourish; and raspberry thoughts—a hint of lime; and
Ever this joy, a Cupid’s bow; and ever this love, an arrow soft;
And sip the light—a light to sip; and romance flame—the rain of
Few; and topaz dreams—the thirst of life. Such twilight passion—

And sapphire smiles; and jungle ways—a tinge of wild; and
Apricot—and jasper sound. The night is green—and yellow blue;
And mystic maize—a morning dew; and aqua breath—a pleasing
Kiss: a subtle breeze: a heart to whisk. I feel you more—the years
To pass: a box of thoughts: a brimming glass; and star to sea—a
Sea of stars: a pensive rose: a soul ajar.
