Glorious Sunday

Glorious Sunday

It was a glorious Sunday morning, seventeen years ago today;
When we went to get Nico a little brother, to frolic with and play!
His doggie mom had birthed a litter, just twelve weeks before;
There was one out of the seven, that we totally adored!
.
For he was a frisky little scrapper, attacking all the rest;
And with Nico’s A type personality, we knew he would fit him best!
We named him baby Cody, using the last two letters of Nico’s name;
Their hearts and Souls both bonded, the moment that he came!
.
This photo shows them on their first day, illustrating their instant love;
We knew we’d done the right thing, we thanked the stars above!
Then for almost twelve fantastic years, they shared happiness and joy;
Our precious little Angels, our darling little boys!
.
.
Glorious Sunday
Changed our lives forever
We’ll never forget

I couldn't think what to write Larry, IV just popped in and saw this straight away... and well,  it's full of love and emotion and I'm so so glad these two little dogs were lucky enough to have joined your lovely family and had such happy and blessed lives. I know you miss them but comfort yourself Larry, in the knowledge that you were the best they could have ever had....hugs ?

My Dear Lady Marion,

For someone who didn't "know what to say", the beautiful words you found brought teardrops to my eyes.  Thank you for these heartfelt expressions.
Please forgive me for not having the time to do any comments, but coupled now with the book I am writing, Linda's work, and the fact that we are moving in a month, we don't have time to breathe.

All my love,
Larry xxx
