Go Boldly Again
Third time's the charm, El Capitan.
Third time around the mulberry bush,
picked of its homely weeds.
And seeds...
Too tart to cleanse this shriveling pallet.
How I have longed
for a dash
of the old Bordeaux,
unturned as the ticking hands have been.
So go boldly, my friend.
Go boldly, again.
Embrace the final frontier within.

I love watching Next Gen. Picard is a great captain. I've yet to get into the "Picard" series. Saw the first series and there were parts I really liked, but there were also parts I was not so keen on. I haven't watched any more series of it. I should. I s'pose. Perhaps I will one day. Anyway, I digress, I love your poem x
