GO BOY - TRAVEL

GO BOY  -  TRAVEL

When I was in Bali they walked on the beach with logo poles,
the dancers had their beads, coloured clothes, eyes like hot coals;
In Cape Town, the white coral sand fell like powder thro' your hands,
sun set on your generous chest, becoming blase' with these exotic lands.

When I was in India, we swam with the fish in Goa,
travel has a bite, you have to engineer and get to know her,
you have to work, live there and not just only back-pack,
only then will you gain the feeling of not wanting to come back.

In Africa, the magic oozed straight from the warm ground,
it was so strong, your thoughts and dreams never made a sound;
I had work to do as I heard sound of drums coming from forest,
couldn't resist a smile as a witch doctor told me what was best.

I became so engrossed with this comic book lifestyle, no tears,
forgot good old gay LA and didn't go home for fourteen years.
