God
I talk to you, I question my life daily, I pray to you, I beg you constantly.
I make promises and I break them, I swear your name when life is painful.
Our relationship is shaky, our communication is based on convenience.
My faith hasn’t been consistent, I still carry past resentment, I still hold grudges.

The truth is in my heart, my mind is a scary place. With time they both seem to be getting on the same page. I’m very blessed but sometimes I wonder why. We both know why, I just got to repent acknowledge it. I’ve tried forcing it but it just doesn’t feel right.
