Poem -
GOD
I created god today
In my own image
And using my own reasoning
His actions mirrored mine
And his philosophy came from my conscience
I created him from my understanding
Of everyday reality
He lives off my intuition
And constantly accompanies me
On a journey that I planned for me
He works to my commands
None can divine him without
An explanation from me
He is me
And I am he

people forget that the concept of god they align with started off as someone's belief that they tapped into ... how many people believe god is how he is because they were brought up as kids in a particular religion and didn't even question or understand some tenets of what they believe?
I wrote this poem as a parody of belief where people can condemn another religion and not realise that god is a philosophical creation.
