God Bless His Little Heart

God Bless His Little Heart

God, I’m sending you a message, I hope you’ll hear my prayer;

It’s about my little doggie, who’s now with you up there!

He’s kind and very gentle, and kisses all he sees;

I’m begging you this favor, to bless his heart, oh please!

I think if he were human, he could have been a saint;

His soul’s sincerely sinless, no marks on it to taint!

He brought such joy and happiness, to all those that he met;

To me he was a soulmate, much more than just a pet!

He rescued me from sinning, and warmed my coldend heart;

He loved me unconditionally, till the day he had to part!

It happened way too early, I thought he’d have more years;

But your Angels came and took him, as I was drowning in my tears!

I think you’ll find him perfect, so good he’ll always be;

He’s so worthy of your blessing, please kiss him once for me!

And I promise you I’ll not err, for he taught me Buddas’ way;

I’d like to come and join him, if you’ll have me there some day!
