For God gives wine and corn

There thou shalt sleep
In fields kept
Where your tears weep
And your heart swept
Rivers of tears
Along many miles
For the lost years
And the crying smiles
Listen to deep thoughts
Amongst the still birds
For lessons taught
Thou shalt be heard
In this temple, quiet
White holy cloth worn
Pray this Sabbath night
For God gives wine and corn

Hello Chris, this poem comes from my
