God in the Storm

God in the Storm

Rumbling sound of thunder breaks,
The lights in sky to show God's face,
As danger lurks just up ahead,
But choosing trust is what He says.

Rain now starts to pour down hard,
A message that the storm's not far,
But all the same we have our faith,
And use this as we pray for strength.

Now the wind blows like a force,
By which no one can change its course,
To watch as it breaks trees from trunk,
Now trusting God and not pot luck.

As the storm dies down at end,
We praise Him that His goodness wins,
And thankful He was in the storm,
A refuge when the dark clouds form.

Great write! With faith in God. We all have shelter from life's rainy days. He's our gravity to keep ourself grounded. Although sometimes trialing wind may bend us. He levels us out when the storm passes.
