God knows

God knows what I went through 
giving up nothing 
My Lord, what more do I need ?
I Need power in the cross
given at no cost
The freedom He paid for me 
leading to nothing but deeper needs
Willing to be free from the pain I was given 
And the Bible tells of the cross that was ridden
Because I'm forgiven
