God Speaks

Listen closely as I speak,
For you will see just what I mean.
Having heard My voice today,
You will soon rejoice and praise.
I have never left your side,
But I know when you've run and hide.
Many times you've called My name,
A message from your inner grave.
You are like a little lamb,
A lost sheep without Me to bend.
I direct each step you take,
But fear holds back the one who's brave.
You have heard Me speak each word,
But still you doubt they will occur.
Not much time will have to pass,
For soon you'll know just what to ask.
In your times of doubt of Me,
I'm still right there to guide your needs.
Rushing to the finish line,
I'm making you the finished prize.
Resting will be what you need,
My peace will be there if you lean.
Don't give up the hope you have,
For faith will lead you by the hand.
Know I've not yet done My plan,
But soon enough you'll understand.
I love you more than you know,
So stay with me when winds will blow.
