terrific write, Devon, unique subject matter my friend....you do have a gift for unique subject matter; makes for non repetitive and interesting poetry to read....it is my personal belief that the devil is a fallen foe, and he tempts yes that is what he is, a tempter and accuser,  but man is ultimately temped by his or her's own lusts and desires; the governing body of mankind; the will, should be strengthened, fostered, by having a connection with God,  the lust of the eyes the lust of the flesh and the pride of life are indeed the avenues that temptation travels down, so one should be careful to avoid, but this is a choice...  evil can't force anyone to do anything they choose not to do, man or woman have the capacity, with the Holy Spirit to resist the devil, and he will flee....it depends on your definition of 'good' but man or woman is not naturally 'good'  being born in sin and shapened in iniquity, so even having the ability to want to resist evil is God given...and if the person or persons are already walking down an evil path, who or what needs to tempt them, that would be somewhat redundant, no?  But it all hinges on your standard of what is 'good' and what is 'evil'  you might find a thousand different definitions of that, my friend....I am from a very traditional Christian background and have my own beliefs on the subject of good and evil and temptation, but that is who I am....and I agree with much of what you write, and when all is said and done I enjoy your point of view and writing skills....fascinating stuff, Devon
