ON HER GAZE 
Her eyes, deep pools where peace and kindness dwell,
Reflect the heavens in their liquid grace,
A silent promise that no tongue can tell,
Of love that lightens every weary space.
The gentle curve of cheek, a soft incline,
Where sunbeams linger, blessing morning's dew,
A sacred art, exquisitely divine,
Through which God's tender hand makes beauty new.
