GODDESS OF HEAVENS SWORD

GODDESS OF HEAVENS SWORD
Ricardo Antonio Garcia
The demurity of a woman
calms the storm before the quest, and she is
the engine of my hearts mind.
She is my destiny
so now that I have arrived
where are we moving in this current?
Do the challenges of our loves offspring
set course and sail
for what is written in the Stars?
Destiny can be a hangman’s noose
for the most famous Pirates of the sea hung.
Always a glass and a drink
before or after death to sublime meanderings
we sing in our gaiety.
If destiny
is a trade wind carrying our cargo
how do we know where we are going
and does
the inkling eye of success show its face?
Looking at the reflection of my piracy
I am a practical man in love
for love
subdues the carnivorous smile with angel dust.
and makes boys of men
as the bed rocks to the rolling waves.
If indeed I hang
the rope of my noose will create my legacy
but in the shallow of her arms
I have died and was reborn because of her.
The soft touch of a woman can make a man cry.
The tone of her voice can sit you down.
I fight the World with the strength of a Dragon.
She is my Goddess of Heavens Sword.
